Edify: A Women’s Mentoring Ministry

Beginning September 23 we are launching a new ministry: ”Edify: A Women’s Mentoring Ministry”
What is it? Edify is a 9 week commitment (September 23, 2019 – November 25, 2019) to either being mentored, or being a mentor, paired with another lady at our church.
On September 23, at 7pm in The Barn will have our kick off meeting! We’ll learn about the ministry, and get insight regarding either being a mentor or being a mentee. We’ll each fill out a profile card, and meet some other women from Harvest at Kumulani.
Later that week a group of ladies will pray, and pair up the profile cards, creating Edify Partners – one mentor, and one mentee. The Edify Partners will be contacted and told who they have been paired with. Then the Edify Partners will decide where, when and how they will meet for the next nine weeks.
The idea is for the partners to meet once a week for about an hour. You will choose what time, activity, and topic works best for you. Some suggested options are: go for walks, paddle board, do bible study (with or without work book), do book study, cook together, get coffee and talk story…The possibilities are endless! Everyone will be provided some guided questions and a resource list, that might be helpful.
Finally, on November 25, 2019 we will have a wrap up party to share testimonies and celebrate together!
